I was born with a life threatening lung condition that resulted in many hospital visits, monthly check-ups at the Doctor and many, many needle pokes over the years. From a young age, my family decided to adopt the motto that we would always make a conscious effort to “invest in memories”, which we did (and still do!) We embraced life, adventure and every curveball that came our way, wholeheartedly. My Dad would take photographs of everything we did together and my Mom would print the photos and make scrapbook
albums and that’s how I grew up.
As I got older, I developed a love for photography, thanks to my Dad, and it wasn’t long before I was using his camera more than he was. He encouraged me to pursue a career in photography and to start my own business... and that’s exactly what I did.
I took photographs of everything and anything and took a special interest in photographing weddings. In 2017, I decided to move to the KZN Midlands and that same year I met my, now husband, Johannes, in the small farm town community of Nottingham Road. We started dating in 2018 and got married in 2019 and we now live in that same small town, on a farm in our cozy little home with our sweet dog! We love exploring new places together and going on mini adventure.... and he makes a mean braai, if I do say so myself!!
Faith has been the driving factor behind all that I do and without Jesus I don’t know where I’d be today.
I am so grateful for the beautiful life and story He has given me and I hope that if nothing else,
it has brought you some encouragement today.
